Welcome to Wellbeing Economy Alliance Norway
WeAll Norway was established in 2024 to mobilize and accelerate the people and organizations that want to develop an economy that serve people and the planet. The movement consists of researchers, policymakers, civil society organizations and engaged citizens that in different ways are working towards redesigning our economy for the better.
The Norwegian WeAll hub is here to connect, strengthen and coordinate the many actors already working towards an economy that serves all of us within planetary boundaries.
Why now?
Norway has strong Welfare traditions and deep commitments to sustainability. In 2025, the Norwegian government adopted a National Wellbeing Strategy, recognizing wellbeing and intergenerational fairness as central policy goals. Many promising initiatives are already underway across the country.
Yet these efforts often operate in isolation. Within government departments, between levels of governance, and among civil society, academia and business – wellbeing-oriented work remains fragmented. There is no shared framework for translating wellbeing economy principles into coordinated actions, and no structured mechanisms for learning from each other or from international experience.
Our role
WeAll Norway fills this gap by serving as a coordinating hub. We connect actors across research, governance and civil society to align goals, share learning, and move from ideas to joint action. At the heart of our approach is a simple idea: no single actor can build a Wellbeing Economy alone. Transformation requires Collective Impact.
We advance this Mission through three pillars of action: Capacity building – developing skills and practical tools for applying Wellbeing Economy principles; Advocacy – shifting narratives and influencing policy; and Research & Innovation – generating evidence, piloting new approaches, and facilitating cross-sector learning.
