Many environmentalists recognize that the crises we face—environmental breakdown, rising conflict, and growing inequality—are rooted in a broken economic system that fails to serve people or the planet. Yet too often, conversations about “the economy” feel distant, confusing, or overly complex.

This session is designed for environmental campaigners, anyone working in climate justice or sustainability, or anyone interested in getting involved and deepening their understanding of economic system change + how to build support for an economy in service of people and planet.

Join us for an interactive session run by WEAll and Greenpeace that will demystify economic systems and inspire new narratives.

In This Workshop, You’ll Learn How To:

  • See the links between our broken economic system, climate breakdown, and biodiversity loss—with fresh data and clear examples.
  • Talk confidently about the economy in your campaigns—using relatable language, metaphors, and storytelling tools.
  • Discover the concept of a Wellbeing Economy—and how it was inspired Indigenous knowledge systems and global movements like Buen Vivir
  • Explore the Five Needs and 4Ps framework, connecting the dots between wellbeing and environmental action.
  • Get practical case studies from around the world showing how a different economy is possible.
  •  Hear real-life examples from Greenpeace on how they’re integrating wellbeing economy thinking into strategy and action
